This is a typical city backgarden, around 4.5x6m back garden, with a small corridor down the side, very overlooked to the back, with open views across gardens to each side.

The clients were keen to create some experience within the garden, whilst also wanting to fit storage for 2 bikes into it. A tough ask for such a small space!

Using an angled path the design creates some simple changes of direction, whilst allowing for a decent planted area helping take the space away from the hard edges of the house. The bike store acting as a screen to the entrance of the path and main patio area. Rather than colour the plantning uses varying greens and leaf shapes to create interest throughout the year.

The design also included for the design of the front garden, with a new victorian patterned entrance way, and thin new border, plus a store for the bins.

Front garden is now complete with the back garden to be completed early next Spring
