The client had what appeared to be a very small and tight garden, which was exagerated by the dimishing perspective further enhanced by the side fence coming into an almost point at the end of the garden. As an end of terrace, in a relatively new build area, the client was lucky to have no neighbours to one side, whilst being overlooked to the other.

The garden was primilary lawn and was only really being used by the dog.

Allowing the garden to respond to these external influences. Leveling the garden to make more of it accessible, we provided the main spaces tucked up to the overlooked side, with planting, trees and a pergola to reduce visibility, whilst opening up to the sky and trees to the other side.
