Buckinghamshire Garden

The client wanted had a open mind to how they wanted their garden to develop. With a modern area near the house, which was shaded by a first floor balcony area, they wanted a more natural area to the back to the garden where they could go to relax.

A lawn was essential for the kids, alongside a productive garden and greenhouse.

The design used a central lawn area to tie together 4 areas around the garden. A shaded terrace, with a timber clad black steel pergola and architectural grass planting created a very modern space to the East of the site, with a curving woodland walk to the West taking you into a circular sunken terrace with wonderful open views out, surrounded with diverse and rich planting to create a restful area to enjoy nature at it’s best.
