Chris Puttick
After completing his degree in Architectural Engineering, Chris spent 20 years in the construction industry, specialising in the design of sustainable, low energy buildings, with a focus on environmental comfort. Working on projects ranging from the new Darwin Centre at the Natural History Museum to the WISE campus at the Centre for Alternative Technology.
Taking briefs and developing ideas and concepts, working alongside clients to meet their needs and requirements has alway been a signifcant part of his work.
Following his passion for the outdoors, gardening and plants, he completed further training at the Garden Design School in Bristol, one of the most respected garden schools in the UK before setting up Oak and Rose Design.
Chris has now completed gardens across the UK from Cornwall, Plymouth and Bristol through to Brighton and London and is personally involved in all designs.
Chris also works part time at the University of the West of England and leads the Architectural and Environmental Engineering programme.
